Sivakarthikeyan helps poor girl to realize her dream of becoming a Doctor

The NEET exams have become mandatory for students to complete to get a seat for MBBS and the Tamil Nadu government’s order to give a 7.5 percent quota for government school students has enabled a few to get a seat.  Under this quota, 8 students from the Thanjavur district have got medical seats.  

On student Sahana hailing from the Pookollai village near Peroovarani has got a seat in the Trichy Medical College.  Daughter of daily laborers she is an underprivileged girl who secured 524 out of 600 marks in the plust two exams.

When it came to the notice of Sivakarthikeyan that Sahana could not afford the tuition fees for NEET he stepped in and paid it on her behalf and has helped her achieve her dream of studying medicine.

Incidentally Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming movie is titled ‘Doctor’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and costarring Priyanka Arul Mohan, Archana VJ, Ilavarasu, Yogi Babu and Vinay.  The film that has music by Anirudh is set for a Summer 2021 release.
