Video: This Might Just Be The Greatest Guardian Kill We’ve Ever Seen In Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

Seriously, it’s impressive!

Guardian Stalkers in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are something you’re taught to fear from the beginning.

Early on in Link’s adventure, the natural instinct is to turn around and run – or at least duck for cover – before one of these ancient machines shoots you down with its long-distance laser beam attack. Eventually, you get to the point in the game where you’re properly equipped (and skilled enough, for that matter) to take these things down.

Some players, who never really stopped playing Breath of the Wild, have been honing their skills for years and are now masters of the game. Naturally, they no longer fear Guardians. One individual, by the name of @Axk_000 over on Twitter, recently uploaded the following Guardian kill clip and it’s blown up within the Zelda community. Here it is in all its glory:

At the time of writing, this clip has got nearly 90k Likes and has been retweeted more than 30k times. A lot of viewers are also noting how impressive it is that the player just walks away from the explosion (without looking at it). Here are a few of the reactions:

“you just absolutely destroyed that thing with style. And that walk at the end after the explosion, such disrespect! This is amazing and probably one of my favorite botw vids now.”

“This is one of those times in which having no idea what’s going on makes it impressive, yet knowing exactly what he’s doing makes it even more impressive”

What do you think? Is this the greatest Guardian kill you’ve ever seen in Breath of the Wild? Or at least one of the best? Share your thoughts down below.
